ABSTRACT
Activity of production tv program has a long process and involves a lot of
people. The process of production tv program cannot be started individually because
in the world of production tv is a team work. Sometimes in a production member of
the production team are having trouble, this is due to the lack of coordination
between the production team that caused the disruption of activities within a
production.
In order to improve the company's performance in producing tv programs as
well asmeet the needs of the information required by the company the author intends
to develop "DESIGNING INFORMATION SYSTEM in TV PROGRAM
PRODUCTION SCHEDULE PT ESA VISUAL PADJADJARAN TIVI (PJTV)
BANDUNG" Development of the system is using waterfall method. In the
implementation phase of software programming using PHP Yii Framework, MySQL
database engine, testing of the software is done by the method of blackbox testing.
With this system, the need for done rapid and precise information updates on
the actual schedule of production and the process of rescheduling be done easily,
quickly, and accurately so that the effectiveness and efficiency of production can be
achieved optimally.
